gage; why are you spamming questions all over the shop in separate threads? You could have brought this up in the warrior thread you made not even a day ago.

I'm wondering this too. OP could maybe try playing the class?

And I'm mainly playing with heroes.

If you are mainly playing with heroes then you can clear any area with any profession, but if you want to play with teams in endgame areas then check out the current meta team builds and choose a class from those. Other than that there isn't much we can tell you because your first class is gnerally just based on what you think you will enjoy playing.

Paranon is totally correct. Any class is capable of clearing all the content because that is the way the game is balanced, it is meant to be played in teams. However, if you are concerned with clearing high end content with other players easily, then you may want to look at the meta clearing teams and go from there.
Just as a baseline, I prefer assassins over dervishes. Their damage is relatively the same, but I find I can do more with my assassin like speed clears, farming, running, and general content. But again, assassin i the first class, that I tried and enjoyed, so I am biased.

im going to agree with everyone else with trying it out
my first charater was a ele, second was a dervish now my dervish is my main one
personally i have cleared ALL the game apart from sorrows furnace with my dervish, it makes a mean tank in areas of the UW, its great with splinter weapon in the FoW
DoA was a bit iffy but i got into it and dungens are just eh, you just go around hitting things with your scythe
the builds on gwpvx are all well and good but ive always took them with a pinch of salt and added my own spin onto them (did a few FoWSC with my rit with 3 skills )
im just about to mop up titles with my dervish, ive done a hell of a lot on it (45/50 on the HoM calc thing) so you would get where i would go

well ive always seen assassins as farmers, theres a lot of builds for speed clears for them
personally i cant be doing with playing a charter where it seems to be nothing but a farmer, granter i do have a sin for the farming but to play i cant do it
